The 3M™ 465 adhesive transfer tape measures 2" x 60 yds and comes in a case of 24 rolls. This 2 mil clear tape features high-tack adhesive with an aggressive bond that adheres on contact, making it ideal for splicing a variety of materials including foils, fabrics, films, and papers. It is designed to withstand challenging work environments with high UV, humidity, and moisture resistance, as well as good solvent resistance. The robust 60 lb. densified kraft paper release liner ensures reliable performance for industrial applications such as die-cutting and automated dispensers. This tape bonds a wide array of substrates, including metal, glass, wood, paper, paint, and many plastics, while the unbleached densified kraft liner allows for both manual and hand applications. It provides consistently strong bonds in temperatures up to 250°F/121°C and features an aggressive acrylic adhesive with a bond strength of 400. Suitable applications include high-speed flying splices and zero speed splices on most grades of paper, laminating adhesive for foams and photos, attaching metal and plastic nameplates, mounting promotional items and posters, and core starting.
