3M™ Scotch® 928 ATG Repositionable Double Coated Tissue Tape measures 3/4" x 18 yds, with a thickness of 2 mil, and is packaged as 48 rolls per case. This tape incorporates 3M™ adhesive 400 and 3M™ adhesive 1000, with the latter being a low-tack, repositionable acrylic pressure-sensitive adhesive that enables the removal and repositioning of various materials, including papers, plastics, foams, and foils, without leaving residue or causing delamination. The 3M™ adhesive 400 is a medium-firm adhesive that provides an excellent balance of initial adhesion and shear holding power, maintaining a strong bond at temperatures up to 180°F/82°C. The tape features a differential adhesive design, with a permanent bond on one side and a removable bond on the other. The face side adhesive creates a bond upon contact with lightweight materials, while the secondary side offers easy removal. It is reverse wound on a unique 1-inch core, intended for use with a Scotch® ATG applicator, and is formulated to prevent bleeding into most paper stocks, reducing the risk of discoloration or staining. This tape is suitable for applications such as reclosable bags or envelopes, holding paperwork and folders, attaching temporary bulletins and work instructions, and providing temporary holds for protective packaging materials like foam or cardboard during shipments.
