3M™ Scotch™ 8919MSR filament tape measures 3/4" x 60 yds and has a thickness of 7 mil, with 48 rolls per case. Designed for optimal performance on oily surfaces, this industrial-strength tape is suitable for various metalworking applications. It features a clear, filament-reinforced polypropylene backing that offers exceptional tensile strength and resistance to abrasion, moisture, scuffing, and breakage, even when nicked or punctured. The tape dispenses easily without curling, facilitating straightforward application. It utilizes a pressure-sensitive modified synthetic rubber adhesive, specifically engineered for strong adhesion and long-term holding power on metal surfaces. The tape is customizable and can be printed on using a print seal process for advertising and warning purposes. Recommended uses include metal coil closure, metal panel splicing, bundling, reinforcing/strapping applications, as well as bundling rebar and metal conduit. The thicker, industrial-strength design, enhanced with glass yarn filaments, ensures it withstands rough shipping and handling conditions while providing superior adhesion compared to natural rubber adhesives.
