The 3M™ Scotch® 8919MSR filament tape measures 1" x 60 yds and has a thickness of 7 mil, packaged in a case of 36 rolls. This industrial-strength tape is designed for performance on oily surfaces and is suitable for a variety of metalworking applications. It is constructed from a clear, filament-reinforced polypropylene backing that offers exceptional tensile strength and is resistant to abrasion, moisture, scuffs, and breaks, even when nicked or punctured. The tape dispenses easily without curling, ensuring a smooth application. Featuring a pressure-sensitive, modified synthetic rubber adhesive, it provides superior adhesion compared to natural rubber adhesives and adheres well to metal surfaces. Glass yarn filaments enhance its strength, making it ideal for pipe wrapping applications. The tape is well-suited for metal coil closure, metal panel splicing, bundling, reinforcing/strapping applications, bundling rebar, and securing metal conduit.
