The 3M™ 465 adhesive transfer tape, measuring 1/2" x 60 yds and featuring a thickness of 2 mil, comes in a case of 72 rolls. This high-tack adhesive tape offers an aggressive bond that adheres on contact, making it ideal for splicing foils, fabrics, films, and papers in fast-paced production environments. With high UV, humidity, and moisture resistance, combined with good solvent resistance, it is well-suited for challenging work conditions. The tape uses a 60 lb. unbleached densified kraft paper release liner that supports both manual and automated applications, making it versatile for industrial uses such as die-cutting and automated dispensers. It bonds a wide variety of substrates, including metal, glass, wood, paper, paint, and many plastics, while providing consistently strong bonds at temperatures up to 250° F/121° C. The aggressive acrylic adhesive 400 ensures that it can create reliable bonds upon contact. This product is applicable for high-speed flying splices and zero-speed splices on various grades of paper, laminating adhesives for foams and photos, attaching metal and plastic nameplates, and mounting promotional items and posters.
