3M™ Scotch® 969 ATG adhesive transfer tape measures 3/4" x 18 yds and has a thickness of 5 mil, with 48 rolls per case. This tape bonds a wide variety of materials including plastics, glass, paints, and glossy surfaces, delivering very high initial adhesion that creates an immediate and permanent bond while offering good solvent and UV resistance. The adhesive effectively adheres to difficult and varied surfaces, including those exposed to high humidity and sunlight. It is equipped with 3M™ adhesive 300, which ensures high initial adhesion and bonds well to metals, many coated papers, fabrics, foams, as well as high surface energy (HSE) and low surface energy (LSE) plastics. This acrylic adhesive has been tested according to ASTM procedures for peel adhesion, temperature, humidity, and resistance to UV, fuels, acids, and detergents. The tape provides very high adhesion and good shear holding power, conforms easily to curves and contours, bonds well to smooth and moderately textured surfaces, and leaves no mess, residue, or odor. Ideal applications include sealing pocket folders, bonding mat board in picture frames and dust covers, splicing paper, films, and foils, general purpose bindery attachment, as well as mounting promotional items and posters.
