The 3M™ 465 adhesive transfer tape measures 3/4" x 60 yds and is comprised of 48 rolls per case, featuring a 2 mil clear design. This high-tack adhesive tape is engineered for rapid production processes, making it ideal for splicing foils, fabrics, films, and papers. It boasts an aggressive bond that adheres upon contact and is backed by high UV, humidity, and moisture resistance, along with good solvent resistance, ensuring performance in challenging environments. The robust 60 lb. densified kraft paper release liner supports reliable operation for industrial applications, including die-cutting and automated dispensers. The tape bonds effectively with a wide variety of substrates, such as metal, glass, wood, paper, paint, and many plastics. It offers the capability to provide consistently strong bonds in temperatures up to 250° F/121° C and utilizes an aggressive acrylic adhesive 400 that bonds on contact. Key applications include high-speed flying splices and zero speed splices on various grades of paper, splicing foils, films, and fabrics, laminating foams and photos, attaching metal and plastic nameplates, and mounting promotional items and posters, as well as core starting.
