3M™ 9579 Double Coated Tape measures 1/2" x 36 yds and consists of 72 rolls per case. This tape features a 9.0 mil double coated high-density polyethylene with rubber adhesive 760, adhered to a 62 lb white densified kraft liner. It is a high-tack, hand tearable double coated film tape with pressure-sensitive adhesive on each side of the carrier. The medium-firm synthetic rubber adhesive provides very high adhesion to various surfaces, boasts good shear holding power, and allows for one-piece removal from most substrates. The product is characterized by its 9 mil synthetic rubber double coated tape with a polyethylene carrier on a white liner, high initial adhesion, excellent quick stick, and good adhesion to low surface energy substrates. It is suitable for indoor and room temperature applications, core stating on metal cores, and is commonly used for general industrial joining and affixing.
