3M™ Scotch® 969 ATG adhesive transfer tape measures 1/2" x 36 yds and comes in a case of 72 rolls. This 5 mil clear tape is designed to bond a wide variety of materials, including plastics, glass, paints, and glossy surfaces. It provides very high initial adhesion, creating an immediate, permanent bond while also offering good resistance to solvents and UV exposure. The tape features 3M™ adhesive 300, which excels in adhering to challenging and diverse textured surfaces, even in environments with high humidity and direct sunlight. The adhesive bonds effectively to various substrates, including metals, coated papers, fabrics, foams, as well as high surface energy (HSE) and low surface energy (LSE) plastics. This acrylic adhesive has undergone testing according to ASTM procedures for peel adhesion, temperature and humidity resistance, as well as resistance to UV, fuels, acids, and detergents. Key features include very high adhesion and good shear holding power, the ability to hold well on glossy surfaces and most plastics, easy conformance to curves and contours, effective bonding on smooth and moderately textured surfaces, and the advantage of leaving no mess, residue, or odor.
