3M™ Scotch® 928 ATG repositionable double-coated tissue tape measures 1/2" x 18 yds and has a thickness of 2 mil, available in a case of 72 rolls. This tape features 3M™ adhesive 400 and 3M™ adhesive 1000; the latter is a low-tack, repositionable acrylic pressure-sensitive adhesive allowing for the removal and repositioning of various materials such as papers, plastics, foams, and foils without leaving residue or causing delamination. The 3M™ adhesive 400 is a medium-firm pressure-sensitive acrylic adhesive system that provides a strong bond with excellent initial adhesion (quick stick) and shear holding power across a range of temperatures up to 180°F/82°C. The tape is reverse wound on a unique 1-inch core specifically designed for use with a Scotch® ATG applicator. It features a differential adhesive system with a permanent bond on one side for immediate adhesion to paper stocks and lightweight materials, while the secondary side presents a low-tack, repositionable adhesive for easy removal. The tape minimizes discoloration or staining as it will not bleed into most paper stocks. Its applications include securing reclosable bags or envelopes, holding paperwork and folders, attaching temporary bulletins and work instructions to production and assembly processes, and providing temporary holds for protective packaging materials during the shipment of manufactured goods.
