3M™ 415 double coated tape measures 1" x 36 yds and has a thickness of 4 mil, with 36 rolls per case. This tape features a 4.0 mil double coated polyester construction with 3M™ acrylic adhesive 400, mounted on a 60 lb densified kraft paper liner, providing high initial adhesion and good holding power across various substrates, particularly paper. It is designed for high-speed applications, delivering excellent UV resistance and performing well up to 180°F/82°C in the short term and up to 150°F/65°C for extended periods. The double-sided adhesive enhances dimensional stability, making it suitable for zero speed and flying splices during printing. It adheres effectively to a range of high and low surface energy substrates, including metals, glass, wood, paints, plastics, films, and foils, along with clay-coated and corrugated paper stock. This tape is ideal for applications such as high-speed and zero-speed splicing on various grades of paper, web splicing, core starting, and handling films and foils.
