The 3M™ 9500PC double coated tape measures 1" x 36 yds and has a thickness of 5.6 mil, coming in a case of 36 rolls. This tape features a polyester carrier that enhances dimensional stability and handling, making it particularly suitable for die cutting and laminating applications. It is designed to laminate high-performance plastics and challenging substrates while providing broad temperature resistance, accommodating temperatures from -40° F (-40° C) to 350° F (177° C). The tape is clear and utilizes a 5 mil (0.14 mm) double coated construction with a high-performance acrylic adhesive, along with a 1.0 mil clear PET carrier film that ensures dimensional stability and facilitates die cutting. Its adherence properties allow it to bond effectively to powder-coated surfaces, most plastics, and other difficult materials. The tape boasts high-holding strength with short-term heat resistance up to 350° F (177° C) and features a 58# unprinted polycoated kraft liner that minimizes edge burr during hard tool die cutting. Recommended applications include bonding low surface energy (LSE) plastics like polypropylene and polyethylene, high-temperature applications, die cutting, and laminating.
