3M™ 465 Adhesive Transfer Tape measures 1/4" x 60 yds and is available in a case containing 144 rolls. This 2 mil clear tape is designed for efficient production processes, facilitating the splicing of foils, fabrics, films, and papers with ease. It features a high-tack, aggressive bond that adheres on contact, providing excellent performance in challenging environments due to its high UV, humidity, and moisture resistance, as well as good solvent resistance. The tape utilizes a robust 60 lb. densified kraft paper release liner, making it suitable for industrial applications including die-cutting and use with automated dispensers. It bonds effectively to a variety of substrates including metal, glass, wood, paper, paint, and many plastics. This tape provides consistently strong bonds in temperatures up to 250°F/121°C and boasts an aggressive acrylic adhesive, ensuring 400 bonds on contact. It is ideal for high-speed flying splices and zero speed splices on most grades of paper, splicing foils, films, and fabrics, laminating adhesive for foams and photos, attaching metal and plastic nameplates, mounting promotional items and posters, and core starting.
