3M™ Scotch® 969 ATG adhesive transfer tape measures 1/4" x 36 yds and has a thickness of 5 mil, with 144 rolls packaged per case. This adhesive transfer tape is designed to bond a wide variety of materials, including plastics, glass, paints, and glossy surfaces, due to its very high initial adhesion that creates an immediate and permanent bond while providing good solvent and UV resistance. It adheres effectively to difficult and varied surfaces, including those with high humidity and exposure to sunlight. Featuring 3M™ adhesive 300, it exhibits high initial adhesion to a range of substrates, including metals, coated papers, fabrics, foams, and both high surface energy (HSE) and low surface energy (LSE) plastics. The acrylic adhesive 300 has been tested according to ASTM procedures for peel adhesion, temperature and humidity, as well as resistance to UV, fuels, acids, and detergents. Key attributes include excellent shear holding power, compatibility with glossy surfaces and most plastics, easy conformance to curves and contours, and the capability to bond smooth and moderately textured surfaces without leaving any mess, residue, or odor. Typical applications include sealing pocket folders, bonding mat board in picture frames and dust covers, splicing paper, films, and foils, general purpose bindery attachment, and mounting promotional items and posters.
