The JET® SSC Series Electric Chain Hoist is a robust lifting solution with a capacity of 5 tons and a lift height of 10 ft, compatible with 115V/230V power supply, making it suitable for various commercial and industrial applications. This hoist features a slip clutch overload protection mechanism that prevents it from lifting loads beyond its rated capacity, ensuring safe operation. The single phase models are designed with thermal overload protection to prevent overheating, while the three phase versions include a reverse phase relay to safeguard against incorrect wiring. It is equipped with a DC electromagnetic brake that secures the load even during power interruptions, along with upper and lower limit switches to prevent over-travel. The maintenance-free gear train, which incorporates a sealed oil bath, enhances reliability and durability. Additionally, it utilizes a Grade 80 black oxide coated load chain, and the control is managed via a 24-volt push button controller with cable strain relief. The JET® SSC Series Electric Hoist offers capacities ranging from 1/2 ton to 5 tons with standard lifts of 10, 15, and 20 feet, with custom lift options available.
