The JET® SSC Series Electric Chain Hoist has a lifting capacity of 5 tons and a lift height of 10 feet, operating on a 3-phase power system at 230V/460V. This hoist is engineered for safety and durability in commercial and industrial applications. It features a slip clutch overload protection mechanism that prevents lifting loads above its rated capacity, as well as a reverse phase relay that safeguards against incorrect wiring. The DC electro-magnetic brake ensures that the load is securely held even in the event of a power interruption. Additionally, the hoist is equipped with upper and lower limit switches to prevent over-travel of the load chain. The maintenance-free gear train is housed in a sealed oil bath for long-lasting reliability, paired with a Grade 80 black oxide coated load chain for added durability. The system includes a 24-volt push button control pendant for user-friendly operation. The JET® SSC Series is available in capacities from 1/2 ton to 5 tons, with standard lift heights of 10, 15, and 20 feet, and custom lifts are also available.
