The JET® JLH compact lever hoist is engineered for safety, durability, and efficiency, making it suitable for demanding industrial environments. It features a lightweight design constructed from durable aluminum alloy housing, facilitating easy transport. The hoist incorporates a dual pawl Weston style brake system that enhances load security by distributing the load to opposite sides of the ratchet gear. The innovative five gear drive train provides mechanical advantage, requiring less force to lift or secure a load. It is available in capacities of 1/4 ton and 1/2 ton, with standard lift options of 5, 10, and 15 feet, as well as custom lifts. The hoist includes alloy steel hooks that can rotate 360 degrees for flexible rigging and are designed to stretch slowly to indicate overload situations. A nylon carrying case is also included for convenient transport and protection from damage. Notably, the 1/4 ton model weighs only 3.5 pounds yet can pull or hold loads exceeding 140 times its weight.
