The Oz Lifting stainless steel hand winch with a 2000 lb. capacity is constructed from Type 304 stainless steel, making it ideal for harsh environments where corrosion resistance is crucial. This winch features an all stainless steel construction, compact design, ergonomic rubber handle, and multiple frame mounting positions. The winch is equipped with fully enclosed gearing, a solid machined gear, an automatic weatherproof Weston brake, a dual cable anchor point, and a large diameter drum. It has a high gear ratio and includes a test certificate and serial number. Note that wire rope is not included. In terms of performance characteristics with 1/4" diameter wire rope, the first layer provides 8 ft. at a 2000 lb. capacity load rating, the mid drum offers 36 ft. at a 1500 lb. capacity load rating, and the full drum accommodates 85 ft. at a 1000 lb. capacity load rating. With 5/16" diameter wire rope, the first layer provides 7 ft. at a 2000 lb. capacity load rating, the mid drum offers 22 ft. at a 1500 lb. capacity load rating, and the full drum accommodates 52 ft. at a 1000 lb. capacity load rating. It is important to note that actual drum capacities may be 25-30% less due to nonuniform winding, and wire rope tension will also affect drum capacity.
