The medium-bodied blue cement is designed for use on all schedules and classes of PVC pipe and fittings up to 6" in diameter with an interference fit. This low-V.O.C. solvent cement complies with the California South Coast Air Quality Management District (SCAQMD) 1168/316AOR and BAAQMD Method 40, meeting various environmental requirements. It is a very fast-setting "hot" cement that is specifically formulated for wet conditions, allowing for quick pressurization and fast installations. The cement is recommended for applications involving potable water, sewer, and DWV systems. The recommended application temperature ranges from 40°F to 110°F (4°C to 43°C), and no primer is needed for non-pressure DWV applications where permitted by local codes. Additionally, the product meets ASTM D2564 standards.
