Oatey 31919 All Weather 1-Step FlowGuard Gold with Ultraviolet Indicator is designed for copper tube size (CTS) CPVC hot and cold potable water pipe and fittings up to 2" diameter interference fit. This Lo-V.O.C. solvent cement meets California South Coast Air Quality Management District (SCAQMD) 1168/316A or BAAQMD Method 40 and various environmental requirements, making it suitable for cold water systems and hot water systems up to 200°F / 93°C. The CPVC FlowGuard Gold with Ultraviolet Indicator is formulated for quick and easy inspection of dry fit joints under ultraviolet light, as the yellow formula glows blue when the solvent cement is applied properly. It may be used without primer where local codes permit, and the recommended application temperature ranges from 0°F to 115°F / -17°C to 46°C. This product complies with ASTM F493.
