Oatey 32161 PVC Blue Lava Hot Cement is an 8 oz. container of medium-bodied blue cement designed for use on all schedules and classes of PVC pipe and fittings up to 6" diameter with interference fit. This low-V.O.C. solvent cement complies with California South Coast Air Quality Management District (SCAQMD) 1168/316AOR BAAQMD Method 40 and meets various environmental requirements. It is formulated as a very fast-setting "hot" cement ideal for wet conditions, quick pressurization, and fast installation. This cement is recommended for potable water, sewer, and DWV applications, with an application temperature range of 40°F to 110°F / 4°C to 43°C. No primer is needed on non-pressure DWV where local codes permit, and it meets ASTM D2564 standards. The product comes with a warranty.
