Oatey 32160 PVC Blue Lava Hot Cement is a 4 oz. medium-bodied blue cement designed for use on all schedules and classes of PVC pipe and fittings up to 6" in diameter with interference fit. This Lo-V.O.C. solvent cement complies with California South Coast Air Quality Management District (SCAQMD) 1168/316AOR, BAAQMD Method 40, and various environmental requirements. It is a very fast-setting "hot" cement formulated specifically for wet conditions and/or quick pressurization, facilitating fast installation. The product is recommended for potable water, sewer, and DWV applications, with a recommended application temperature range of 40°F to 110°F (4°C to 43°C). No primer is needed on non-pressure DWV applications where local codes permit. Oatey PVC Blue Lava Hot Cement meets ASTM D2564 for performance standards.
