Oatey 31917 All Weather 1-Step FlowGuard Gold with Ultraviolet Indicator is an 8 oz. solvent cement designed for Copper Tube Size (CTS) CPVC hot and cold potable water pipes and fittings up to 2" diameter interference fit. This Lo-V.O.C. solvent cement complies with California South Coast Air Quality Management District (SCAQMD) 1168/316A and BAAQMD Method 40, meeting various environmental requirements. It is suitable for cold water systems and hot water systems with a temperature tolerance of up to 200°F / 93°C. The CPVC FlowGuard Gold is uniquely formulated to allow for quick inspection of dry fit joints using ultraviolet light, with the yellow formula glowing blue under UV when applied properly. It can be used without primer where local codes permit and has a recommended application temperature range of 0°F to 115°F / -17°C to 46°C. The product meets ASTM F493 certification.
