Oatey 30890 PVC Rain-R-Shine Blue Cement is a 4 oz. medium-bodied blue cement specifically designed for use on all schedules and classes of PVC pipe and fittings up to 6" in diameter with an interference fit. This low-V.O.C. solvent cement complies with the California South Coast Air Quality Management District (SCAQMD) 1168/316A and the Bay Area Air Quality Management District (BAAQMD) Method 40, meeting various environmental requirements. It features a very fast-setting "hot" formulation ideal for wet conditions, enabling quick pressurization and fast installation. The cement is recommended for applications including pool, irrigation, potable water, pressure pipe, conduit, and DWV systems. The recommended application temperature ranges from 40°F to 110°F (4°C to 43°C), and no primer is needed on non-pressure DWV applications up to 6" in diameter where local codes permit. Additionally, it meets ASTM D-2564 standards.
