Oatey 30893 PVC Rain-R-Shine Blue Cement is a 16 oz. medium-bodied blue cement designed for use on all schedules and classes of PVC pipe and fittings up to 6" diameter with interference fit. This Lo-V.O.C. solvent cement complies with California South Coast Air Quality Management District (SCAQMD) 1168/316A and BAAQMD Method 40, along with various environmental regulations. It features a very fast-setting "hot" formulation specifically created for wet conditions, allowing for quick pressurization and prompt installation. It is recommended for applications including pool, irrigation, potable water, pressure pipe, conduit, and DWV, with an application temperature range of 40°F to 110°F (4°C to 43°C). Notably, no primer is required on non-pressure DWV, up to 6" diameter where local codes permit, and it meets ASTM D-2564 standards. The product is covered by a limited warranty.
