Oatey 30895 PVC Rain-R-Shine blue cement is a medium-bodied blue cement designed for use on all schedules and classes of PVC pipe and fittings up to 6 inches in diameter with an interference fit. This Lo-V.O.C. solvent cement complies with the California South Coast Air Quality Management District (SCAQMD) 1168/316A as well as BAAQMD Method 40, meeting various environmental requirements. It is a very fast-setting "hot" cement, specifically formulated for applications under wet conditions, allowing for quick pressurization and fast installation. It is recommended for use in pool systems, irrigation, potable water systems, pressure pipes, conduit, and DWV systems. The recommended application temperature ranges from 40°F to 110°F (4°C to 43°C). No primer is needed for non-pressure DWV applications up through 6 inches in diameter where local codes permit. The product meets ASTM D-2564 standards. This comes in a wide mouth can with a capacity of 1 gallon.
