Ideal Shield's Octagon sign base is made of durable polyethylene plastic, resulting in a maintenance-free, lightweight yet durable system. The Octagon sign base dimensions are 8" wide x 20" height (each side), and the sign stick standard height is 98". Recommended installation is to fill with concrete, sand, or water, and the base will hold up to 11.5 gallons of water. In freeze areas, it is advised to fill the sign base with 10 gallons of water to allow expansion.
