The kit includes a stove board designed to protect floors from intense heat, hot coals, ashes, and soot produced by wood stoves, and can also be utilized under other heating appliances such as kerosene, gas, and electric heaters. It serves as a hearth extender to protect flooring in front of fireplaces and is C US listed for use as a wall shield to safeguard walls from heat, although non-UL stove boards are not suitable for this purpose. The product has been tested to UL1618 Type 2 standards. It comes with a 90-day warranty against manufacturing defects, which excludes all painted finishes (including color variations, fading, scratches, or discoloration) and minor dents or imperfections, provided the product is installed properly and used according to its intended use.
