The Federal Signal AV1-LED-024A is a combination audible/visual signal designed for flashing operations at 24VDC, featuring a striking amber dome. This model boasts a robust 100% polycarbonate housing, rated for Type 3R rain-tight applications, ensuring reliable performance in outdoor settings. The AV1-LED allows for three mounting configurations, accommodating a 1/2-inch NPT pipe, a 4-inch octagonal electrical box, or any flat surface, with a surface mount gasket that guides proper installation. Its unique twist and lock dome design provides tool-free access to the LED, while the Fresnel lensing enhances visibility from all angles. The integrated buzzer emits an output of 85dB at a distance of 10 feet (95dB @ 1 meter), and the device can operate independently in both light and sound functions. Users can also adjust the LED to two distinct flash patterns (60 FPM or 75 FPM) using a jumper on the PC board. The unit is factory assembled with two color-coded leads, which can be disconnected for direct connection to the terminal block located at its base.
