The Tripp Lite HDMI signal booster/extender cable (1 ft.) is designed to enhance the transmission of HDMI signals, supporting resolutions up to 1920x1200 (1080p) at 60Hz over extended distances up to 125 ft. from the source. This extender increases the distance that a 1080p signal can be effectively transmitted beyond the standard limit of 16 ft. (5 m.). The product is compatible with computer video resolutions and HD resolutions, and it is recommended to use P568-series HDMI cables in most applications. For extending signals over 75 ft., a 24AWG HDMI cable, such as the P568-100-HD, is necessary, and lengths over 100 ft. can be ordered as custom options from Tripp Lite. The extender is capable of transmitting a 3D signal up to 125 ft. using 24AWG cabling, ensuring secure connections with its latching connector in the built-in HDMI cable. The device does not require any software or drivers for operation, is HDCP compliant, and meets the Federal Trade Agreements Act (TAA) standards for GSA schedule purchases.
