Tripp Lite's B132-100A VGA with audio over CAT5/CAT6 extender is designed for extending a video and audio signal over long distances, supporting resolutions up to 1920 x 1440 at 60Hz for up to 500 ft. and 1024 x 768 at 60Hz for up to 1,000 ft. The kit requires the use of 24AWG solid wire CAT5e/6 cable, such as Tripp Lite's N022-01K-GY (CAT5) and N222-01K-GY (CAT6), to achieve maximum distance and optimal image quality, especially between 500 and 1,000 ft. where zero-skew cable, like Tripp Lite P524-01K, is recommended. The device features built-in equalization and gain controls to adjust the video image. It includes mounting hardware for wall, rack, or pole mounting, making it ideal for digital signage applications in environments such as retail, schools, and churches.
