It is powered by a Makita-built motor that operates at 3,700 RPM, facilitating faster cutting and ripping through wood. With a heavy gauge, precision machined base, the saw ensures smooth and accurate cutting while enhancing durability. It offers a maximum bevel cutting capacity of 50° and weighs only 7.3 lbs. (with battery not included), reducing operator fatigue. The saw comes equipped with a 6-1/2" blade, delivering a robust cutting capacity suitable for various applications. The rubberized soft grip handle enhances comfort during use, and the Star Protection Computer Controls™ safeguard against overloading, over-discharging, and over-heating.
