The Electro Kinetic Technologies Pony Express Motorized Platform Cart is designed to reduce employee injuries caused by excessive push/pull forces associated with manual carts. The cart has a payload capacity of 3,000 pounds and offers a usable deck space of 34.5" wide by 52" long, with a deck height of 11.5". It utilizes a center wheel drive system, providing a tighter turning radius compared to front wheel drive carts. Constructed with a heavy-duty powder-coated white steel welded frame, it features deep cycle AGM rechargeable batteries and an on-board UL, CUL listed 120/240 VAC battery charger. The cart is equipped with foam-filled never flat drive tires, solid-state regenerative braking, and a holding brake for maintaining position on inclines. The non-skid platform surface and curved platform corners with full wrap-around vinyl bumpers help protect the cart and its surroundings. Additionally, the ergonomic handle control allows for variable speed forward and reverse control ranging from 0 to 3 miles per hour in fast mode or 0 to 1.5 miles per hour in slow mode. Key features include a keyed power on/off switch for security, a color battery charge level indicator, an emergency stop button, and a horn.
