The Electro Kinetic Technologies Pony Express Motorized Platform Cart is designed to eliminate employee injuries caused by excessive push/pull forces found in manual carts. It has a payload capacity of 2,000 pounds and offers a usable deck space of 25 1/2" wide x 40" long, with a deck height of 12". The cart features a center wheel drive system which provides a tighter turning radius than front wheel drive carts, a heavy-duty powder-coated white steel welded frame, and deep cycle AGM rechargeable batteries. It includes an on-board UL, CUL listed 120/240 VAC battery charger, foam-filled never-flat drive tires, solid-state regenerative braking, and a holding brake to maintain position on inclines. The non-skid platform surface and curved platform corners come equipped with full wrap-around vinyl bumpers to protect the cart and its surroundings. The ergonomic handle control design permits variable speed control from 0 to 3 miles per hour in fast mode or 0 to 1.5 miles per hour in slow mode, with features such as a keyed power on/off switch for security, a color battery charge level indicator, an emergency stop button, and a horn.
