The Nerp Dual Speed series of electric chain hoists from Harrington incorporates a push/pull trolley with an under the cover variable frequency drive, providing exceptional load control and field adjustable two speeds with up to a 12:1 speed ratio. Key features include "The Guardian" smart brake technology, a current driven electromagnetic brake that remains engaged unless the motor is energized, grade 80 nickel plated load chain, and a variable frequency drive that allows for speed adjustability, alongside integral hour counting functionality which records and displays the number of lowering starts and hoist on time. The design includes a 5 pocket load sheave that reduces vibration and extends chain life, a cooler motor and brake thanks to the fan cooled motor, low profile upper and lower limit switches, and plug-in pendant and power supply cords. Hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, built to meet RoHS environmental requirements, and exceed ASME H4 duty rating. Each hoist is supplied with a test certificate verifying it has been factory load tested to 125% of its rated capacity, in accordance with ASME B30.16.
