The NERP series of electric chain hoists from Harrington features advanced technology and a push/pull trolley design, resulting in high-quality, low headroom, full-featured hoists that deliver reliable performance in both routine and severe working environments. Key attributes include "The Guardian" smart brake technology, which employs a current-driven electromagnetic brake that only releases when the motor is energized, a Grade 80 nickel-plated load chain, and a count hour meter that records and displays the number of lowering starts and hoist operating time. The hoists are equipped with a 5-pocket load sheave that reduces vibration and extends chain life, a cooler motor and brake due to the fan-cooled motor system, low-profile upper and lower limit switches, and plug-in pendant and power supply cords. They are UL listed to UL 1340, comply with RoHS requirements, and exceed ASME H4 duty rating. Each hoist is provided with a test certificate confirming it has been factory load tested to 125% of rated capacity, in accordance with ASME B30.16.
