The Nerp series of electric chain hoists from Harrington features a push/pull trolley design utilizing the latest technology, resulting in high-quality, low headroom, full-featured hoists that deliver reliable performance in both routine situations and severe working environments. Key features include "The Guardian" smart brake technology, a current-driven electromagnetic brake that only releases when the motor is energized, grade 80 nickel-plated load chain, a count hour meter that records and displays the number of lowering starts and hoist on time, and a five-pocket load sheave that reduces vibration and extends chain life. Additionally, a fan-cooled motor provides a cooler motor and brake experience, while low-profile upper and lower limit switches contribute to the overall design. The hoists come with plug-in pendant and power supply cords. They are UL listed to UL 1340, built to be environmentally friendly in accordance with RoHS requirements, and exceed the ASME H4 duty rating. All hoists are delivered with a test certificate verifying that each unit has been factory load tested to 125% of its rated capacity, in accordance with ASME B30.16.
