The Nerp series of electric chain hoists from Harrington are designed using the latest technology and incorporate a push/pull trolley, resulting in high quality, low headroom, full-featured hoists that deliver reliable performance in both routine and severe working environments. Key features include "The Guardian" smart brake technology, which is a current-driven electromagnetic brake that does not release unless the motor is energized; a grade 80 nickel plated load chain; a count hour meter that records and displays the number of lowering starts and hoist on time; a 5 pocket load sheave that reduces vibration and extends chain life; and a cooler motor and brake due to the fan-cooled motor. Additional attributes consist of low profile upper and lower limit switches, as well as plug-in pendant and power supply cords. These hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, built to be environmentally friendly and meet RoHS requirements, and exceed the ASME H4 duty rating. Each hoist comes with a test certificate verifying that it has been factory load tested to 125% of its rated capacity in accordance with ASME B30.16.
