The NERP series of electric chain hoists from Harrington are engineered with advanced technology and feature a push/pull trolley, resulting in high-quality, low headroom, full-featured hoists that deliver reliable performance in various working environments. Key features include "The Guardian," a smart brake technology that utilizes a current driven electromagnetic brake that only releases when the motor is energized, a grade 80 nickel plated load chain, and a count hour meter that records and displays the number of lowering starts and hoist operating time. Additionally, these hoists come equipped with a 5 pocket load sheave to minimize vibration and prolong chain life, a fan-cooled motor that contributes to a cooler motor and brake, low profile upper and lower limit switches, and plug-in pendant and power supply cords. The hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, environmentally friendly as they meet RoHS requirements, and exceed the ASME H4 duty rating. Each hoist is supplied with a test certificate verifying that it has been factory load tested to 125% of its rated capacity, in accordance with ASME B30.16.
