The Nerp series of electric chain hoists from Harrington are engineered with advanced technology and include a push/pull trolley, resulting in high-quality, low headroom, full-featured hoists designed for reliable performance in both routine and severe working environments. Key features include "The Guardian," a smart brake technology, a current-driven electromagnetic brake that engages only when the motor is energized, and grade 80 nickel plated load chain. Additional attributes consist of an hour meter that records and displays the number of lowering starts and hoist on time, a five-pocket load sheave to reduce vibration and extend chain life, and a cooler motor and brake due to the fan-cooled motor design. The hoists are equipped with low profile upper and lower limit switches, as well as plug-in pendant and power supply cords. These hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, environmentally friendly as they meet RoHS requirements, and exceed the ASME H4 duty rating. Each hoist comes with a test certificate verifying that it has undergone factory load testing at 125% of its rated capacity, in compliance with ASME B30.16.
