The NERP series of electric chain hoists from Harrington are engineered with advanced technology and features a push/pull trolley, resulting in high-quality, low headroom, full-featured hoists that deliver reliable performance in both routine applications and harsh working environments. Key features include "The Guardian" smart brake technology, which utilizes a current-driven electromagnetic brake that only releases when the motor is energized, a grade 80 nickel-plated load chain, a count hour meter that records and displays the number of lowering starts and hoist on time, a five-pocket load sheave to minimize vibration and extend chain life, and a cooler motor and brake due to the fan-cooled design. Additionally, the hoists are equipped with low-profile upper and lower limit switches, and plug-in pendant and power supply cords. These hoists are UL listed to UL 1340 standards, built compliant with RoHS requirements, and exceed ASME H4 duty rating. Each hoist comes with a test certificate verifying that it has been factory load tested to 125% of its rated capacity, in accordance with ASME B30.16 standards.
