The Nerp series of electric chain hoists from Harrington are engineered with advanced technology and feature a push/pull trolley, resulting in high-quality, low headroom, full-featured hoists that deliver reliable performance in both routine and severe working environments. Key features include "The Guardian" smart brake technology, a current driven electromagnetic brake that engages only when the motor is energized, grade 80 nickel plated load chain, and a count hour meter that records the number of lowering starts and hoist on time. Additionally, the hoists are designed with a 5 pocket load sheave to minimize vibration and extend chain life, a fan-cooled motor for cooler operation, low profile upper and lower limit switches, and plug-in pendant and power supply cords. The hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, built to be environmentally friendly by meeting RoHS requirements, and they exceed the ASME H4 duty rating. Each hoist comes with a test certificate verifying that it has been factory load tested to 125% of its rated capacity, in accordance with ASME B30.16.
