The NERP series of electric chain hoists from Harrington are engineered with advanced technology and feature a push/pull trolley, resulting in high-quality, low headroom hoists that deliver reliable performance in both routine tasks and challenging environments. Key features include "The Guardian" smart brake technology, a current-driven electromagnetic brake that only releases when the motor is energized, a grade 80 nickel-plated load chain, and a count hour meter that records and displays the number of lowering starts and hoist on time. They also feature a 5-pocket load sheave to minimize vibration and extend chain life, a cooler motor and brake due to the fan-cooled design, and low profile upper and lower limit switches. The hoists come with plug-in pendant and power supply cords. All units are UL listed to UL 1340, environmentally friendly complying with RoHS requirements, and exceed the ASME H4 duty rating. Each hoist is supplied with a test certificate confirming factory load testing at 125% of the rated capacity, in accordance with ASME B30.16.
