The Nerp series of electric chain hoists from Harrington are engineered with advanced technology and feature a push/pull trolley, yielding high-quality, low headroom hoists that deliver reliable performance in both routine and demanding environments. Key features include "The Guardian," smart brake technology that utilizes a current-driven electromagnetic brake which only releases when the motor is energized; grade 80 nickel plated load chain; a count hour meter that records and displays the number of lowering starts and hoist on time; a 5-pocket load sheave designed to minimize vibration and extend chain life; a fan-cooled motor that results in cooler motor and brake operation; low profile upper and lower limit switches; and plug-in pendant and power supply cords. The hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, manufactured to comply with RoHS requirements, and exceed ASME H4 duty rating. Each hoist comes with a test certificate verifying that it has been factory load tested to 125% of its rated capacity, in accordance with ASME B30.16.
