The NERP series of electric chain hoists from Harrington features advanced technology and a push/pull trolley design, resulting in high quality, low headroom, full-featured hoists that ensure reliable performance in both routine and severe working environments. Notable features include "The Guardian" smart brake technology, which utilizes a current driven electromagnetic brake that only releases when the motor is energized; grade 80 nickel plated load chain; a count hour meter that records and displays the number of lowering starts and hoist on time; a 5 pocket load sheave that reduces vibration and extends chain life; and a fan-cooled motor that contributes to cooler motor and brake operation. Additional attributes include low profile upper and lower limit switches, along with plug-in pendant and power supply cords. These hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, built to be environmentally friendly in compliance with RoHS requirements, and exceed ASME H4 duty rating standards. Each hoist also comes with a test certificate verifying that it has been factory load tested to 125% of its rated capacity, in accordance with ASME B30.16.
