The Nerp series of electric chain hoists from Harrington incorporates the latest technology and includes a push/pull trolley, resulting in high quality, low headroom, full-featured hoists that offer reliable performance in both routine and severe working environments. Key features include "The Guardian," which is smart brake technology utilizing a current-driven electromagnetic brake that only releases when the motor is energized; a grade 80 nickel-plated load chain; a count hour meter that records and displays the number of lowering starts and hoist on time; a five-pocket load sheave designed to reduce vibration and extend chain life; and a cooler motor and brake attributed to the fan-cooled motor. The hoists also feature low profile upper and lower limit switches, as well as plug-in pendant and power supply cords. All hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, built to meet RoHS requirements, and exceed the ASME H4 duty rating. Each hoist is accompanied by a test certificate verifying that it has been factory load tested to 125% of its rated capacity, in accordance with ASME B30.16.
