The NERP series of electric chain hoists from Harrington are designed with advanced technology and feature a push/pull trolley, providing high-quality, low headroom, and full-featured performance for daily use in both routine and severe working environments. Key features include "The Guardian," which is smart brake technology utilizing a current-driven electromagnetic brake that only releases when the motor is energized, as well as a grade 80 nickel-plated load chain. The hoists also come equipped with a count hour meter that records and displays the number of lowering starts and hoist on time, a 5-pocket load sheave that reduces vibration and extends chain life, and a cooler motor and brake resulting from a fan-cooled motor. Additional specifications include low profile upper and lower limit switches and plug-in pendant and power supply cords. These hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, built to be environmentally friendly while meeting RoHS requirements, and exceed the ASME H4 duty rating. Each hoist includes a test certificate verifying that it has been factory load tested to 125% of its rated capacity in accordance with ASME B30.16.
