The NERP series of electric chain hoists from Harrington are engineered with advanced technology and feature a push/pull trolley, resulting in high-quality, low headroom, full-featured hoists designed for reliable performance in both routine and severe working environments. Key features include "The Guardian," a smart brake technology that utilizes a current-driven electromagnetic brake that remains engaged until the motor is energized, as well as a grade 80 nickel plated load chain. Additional attributes consist of a count hour meter to track and display the number of lowering starts and hoist operation time, a five-pocket load sheave to minimize vibration and prolong chain life, a cooler motor and brake due to the fan-cooled motor design, low profile upper and lower limit switches, and plug-in pendant and power supply cords. These hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, built to meet RoHS requirements, and exceed ASME H4 duty rating. Each hoist comes with a test certificate confirming it has been factory load tested to 125% of its rated capacity in accordance with ASME B30.16.
