The NERP Dual Speed series of electric chain hoists from Harrington features a push/pull trolley with an under the cover variable frequency drive, providing exceptional load control and field adjustable two speeds with a speed ratio of up to 12:1. Key features include "The Guardian" smart brake technology, which utilizes a current-driven electromagnetic brake that does not release unless the motor is energized, a grade 80 nickel plated load chain, and a variable frequency drive that allows for speed adjustability and integral count hour functionality to record and display the number of lowering starts and hoist on time. The design also incorporates a 5-pocket load sheave to reduce vibration and extend chain life, a cooler motor and brake thanks to the fan-cooled motor, as well as low profile upper and lower limit switches and plug-in pendant and power supply cords. The hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, built to meet RoHS requirements, and exceed the ASME H4 duty rating. Additionally, all hoists are provided with a test certificate verifying that the hoist has been factory load tested to 125% of its rated capacity, in accordance with ASME B30.16.
