The Nerp series of electric chain hoists from Harrington are engineered with advanced technology and feature a push/pull trolley, resulting in high quality, low headroom, full-featured hoists that deliver reliable performance in both routine and severe working environments. Key features include "The Guardian": smart brake technology, a current driven electromagnetic brake that remains engaged until the motor is energized, grade 80 nickel plated load chain, a count hour meter that records and displays the number of lowering starts and hoist on time, a 5 pocket load sheave designed to reduce vibration and extend chain life, and a fan cooled motor that contributes to a cooler motor and brake. Additional attributes comprise low profile upper and lower limit switches, along with plug in pendant and power supply cords. The hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, compliant with RoHS requirements, and exceed the ASME H4 duty rating. Every hoist is supplied with a test certificate that verifies it has been factory load tested to 125% of its rated capacity, in accordance with ASME B30.16.
